So this was made for a private event with Stanford and some other college alumni. I would love to be able to tell you who the other college was but I made this drink while another bartender worked on the other one. Our goals were to make the color of the colleges.
Recipe
- 0.75 Oz Select
- 0.75 Oz Brandy
- 0.75 Oz Bourbon
- 0.75 Oz Pineapple white pepper simple
- 0.5 Oz Amaro Averna
Select is just like Aperol but just a bit older. Nearly indistinguishable in flavor though so switching out for Aperol is totally acceptable. Averna is suggested due to the color cause its decently dark.
Now this drink is VERY spirit forward and pretty strong so its not for a light night for sure.
The simple is the hardest part to make. Frankly if you feel like making the drink I would just suggest doing Pineapple juice and Simple syrup. Do around .25 pineapple and .5 Simple.
