This one’s name is better then the drink.
- 1 Oz Malort
- 1 Oz Amaro Montenegro
- 1 Oz Lemon
- 0.5 Oz Pine Pepper simple
Shake and serve up for this one
NOW this one actually taste okay but I do think there is one glaring ingredient that is super interchangeable. That Pine Pepper simple was only in there purely to add a tart twitch inside of the drink. Any tart simple syrup would do with a citrus touch being what I prefer.
The rest of the drink is interesting. The Amaro has potential here with it actually able to kinda handle and calm down the overtly angry side of Malort only leaving that actually pretty tasty grapefruit flavor. It’s delicious in a very aggressive away. Yes its Malort but the Lemon with the Amaro really calms down the hate and just leaves a very potent grapefruit flavor.
