So this one I don’t have a story for mainly cause I cant remember why I made this one. I wrote it down though cause the drink tasted pretty good just to be frank. Kinda a cross on both a Gold Rush and a Black Manhattan.
- 1.5 Oz 100ish proof whiskey
- 1 Oz Cocchi Americano
- 1 Oz Bonal Amaro
- 1 Oz Honey Syrup
- 3 dashes of hellfire bitters
Just a few notes on this one. Stir and serve on a stone with a lemon twist to start.
The Whiskey just needs to be kinda hot. It should burn the back of your tongue a bit with its decently high alcohol content. Secondly Bonal Amaro is obviously just a suggestion. It’s kinda earthy with a bit of spiciness to it which is why I chose that one specifically.
Overall the drink is strong and will provide a nice amount of heat if the drinker enjoys the burn of booze. Needless to say this isn’t exactly a drink for a light night.
