So this name was created because I made this drink and then didn’t come up with a name for it. It was supposed to be a throwaway drink that I was gonna never name but I made it for this couple and one of them liked it a lot. They told me stories on how they met and how they both agreed that a second date is the most important date and that’s when you can fully discuss some of the more relationship making topics.
Truthfully a very nice conversation that I enjoyed a lot on a slow Thursday.
Recipe
- 1.5 Vodka
- 0.5 Amaretto
- 0.5 Mint syrup
- 0.5 lime juice
Shake all the ingredients and then server up (no ice) in a coup with a lime twist (A peel you have twisted to express the oils over the drink)
Simple drink that has a nice easy to dissect flavor profile. In my opinion it almost comes off as like Medicinal but in a good way? A fair warning to anyone who may hate that sort of drink though.
Amaretto and mint play nice together with Mint syrup being easy to make. Just add some boiling water to some Mint leaves until the water turns green. Strain and then add the sugar!
Overall a very easy drink to make and try.
